Vernon E. Myers of Laurel passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Vernon worked for Western Electric which became AT&T, then became Lucent Technology when he retired. He was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Seaford.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty King Myers; two sons, Dan Myers (Sandy) and Bob Myers (Linda); a daughter, Jane Fowler (Steve); a sister, Norma Myers; a sister-in-law, Anne Myers; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, Aug. 22 at the Cranston Funeral Home. Burial was on Monday, Aug. 24 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Baltimore.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 315 N. Shipley St, Seaford, DE 19973, or your favorite charity.
