Time to order your “Thanksgiving Goodies”! Wheatley Methodist Church has sweet potato biscuits and pies, peanut brittle, as well as, fruit pies, fish sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs. This is a “pick up” sale. To guarantee purchase, you must pre-order the biscuits, pies, and cornbread. Call 302-536-7796, if no answer, leave message and a confirmation call will be returned. Pick up will be 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
The fish, hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for lunch beginning 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. To assure availability, pre-order is highly recommended.
Wheatley Church is located near Galestown at 5802 Wheatley Church Road, just off Maryland 313, two miles north of Sharptown and two miles south of Eldorado. Proceeds to benefit Historic Wheatley Methodist Church preservation project.
