Stephen S. Falchek, Sr., formerly of Seaford, became one with the force on Feb. 6, 2025. He was born Dec. 24, 1949, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. to Stanley and Stella Falchek. He was a retiree of DuPont and spent his golden years making memories with his family. Decorating for holidays, attending sporting events, playing board games and collecting model trains were among his passions.
We mark the transition of seasons with grandpa’s traditions. Winter brings new hallmark ornaments and the New Jersey Devils. Spring flowers adorn our homes. Summer outings to the ballpark; Twizzlers, peanuts and crackerjacks in hand. Fall zombie pits, fog machines and the spookiest yards on the block tell the story of what we meant to him.
He is preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by his soulmate Regina E. Falchek; his son, Stephen S. Falchek Jr. and his spouse Jennifer Franzitta; his daughter Jeanne M. Falchek and her spouse Tanner Romanishan; his grandchildren Thomas W. Nickel Jr., and his spouse Hope Nickel, Jackson Falchek, Julianna Franzitta; and his great grandson Oliver T. Nickel. Steve will be fondly remembered by his friends Nancy, Charlieanna, Bobby, and Edy, the folks at the Seaford Senior Center, his trivia friends and many more.
