Participants will be reading and discussing the book Short Stories by Jesus…by Amy-Jill Levine. The study focuses on interpretations of the parables of Jesus. The book is accompanied by a video series. The book is currently available on Amazon for $9.99. If anyone is in need of assistance with purchasing the book, please contact Fr. Jack at St. Philip’s.
Sessions are held on Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m. in the parish house (enter through glass doors next to the church), 600 S. Central Ave., and will continue weekly through Aug. 21 (there will be NO session on Aug. 7). Please read Chapter 4, The Pearl of Great Price, for July 24. If you choose not to purchase/read the book, you may still come and participate in the conversation.
Each session stands alone, so don’t be worried about missing a session or two because of other commitments. The program is open to all interested.
