Mount Olivet United Methodist Church is having a Soup-er sale. Homemade soup and baked goods will be available on Feb. 10 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Timing is convenient for those who want to watch the Super Bowl and enjoy a hot bowl of soup!
Orders will be taken through Feb. 5. To place an order, call 302-629-4458 or e-mail Secretary.mtolivet@gmail.com. You can also stop by the church at 315 High Street, Seaford, and fill out an order form.
Here are the soups that will be available: 15-bean soup with ham, cheddar broccoli, chicken taco soup, chili, lasagna soup, Mount Olivet chicken noodle soup, potato corn chowder, and white chicken chili. Baked Goods available will be: brownies, cheddar bay biscuits, chocolate chip cookies, cranberry-orange bread, hummingbird cake, jumbo blueberry-lemon muffins, and oatmeal raisin cookies. There may be a few more items. Soup is priced at $10 for a quart. Baked goods have different prices based on size and quantity.
