The Sons of Thunder will be the featured musical group at Connection Church for Café Night on Sunday, June 22. If you are looking for a great night of music, food and a word of encouragement, make plans to enjoy gospel music at its best from 6-8 p.m.
Also that night, the church will be collecting individually wrapped snack foods for the inter-faith advocacy ministry of New Zion UMC. They work for the safety and well-being of the children and citizens of West Laurel. Anna Handy from Operation West Laurel (OWL) will share stories of God’s answers to prayer in our community. “Why do they pray?” You will find out!
