Sherry was born on March 31, 1971 in Georgetown to Randall Monday and Joan Elliott. She departed this life suddenly on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021 at her home.
Sherry received her education in the Seaford School District. Sherry was a loving mother of two living children, Michael and Brandon, and carried her beloved son, Joshua, in her heart after his earthly transition. Sherry was an amazing grandmother to her beautiful grandsons. If there is one thing the family knew about Sherry, she was a praying warrior. Sherry was known to pull out a Scripture or a powerful prayer at any given moment to encourage her family, friends, or even a stranger, to assure them that God was in control of all things and that the enemy had no power. She was a true believer in the power of Jesus Christ. Everyone knew that Sherry loved the Lord.
Sherry loved gospel music, painting rocks, and spending quality time with her family. Sherry was a member of Greater Bethel Zion C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Pastor Matthew E. Phillips, Sr.
Sherry was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Ryan Williams, whom she loved dearly.
Sherry leaves her fragrance with her loving family: two sons, Michael C. Remus, Sr., and Brandon Remus; mother, Joan Elliott (William); brothers, Philip Brill and William J. Elliott III; grandchildren, Ryan Joshua Buckler, Michael Carl Remus II, and Elijah Edwin Remus; one niece, Alexis Nicole Elliott; two nephews, William J. Elliott, IV and Aidan David Elliott; her Greater Bethel church family, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Sherry’s love will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
