Sherron E. Waller of Seaford passed away on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026, at Lofland Park Center, where the staff had become like family to her.

Sherron was born on April 17, 1940, in East Orange, New Jersey, to the late Ralph and Roslyn (Mutterer) Missel. She will be remembered for her love of family, animals, and the many simple things that brought her joy.

Sherron enjoyed watching football, collecting rocks, and learning about the Civil War. She especially enjoyed taking trips to Virginia, caring for her pets, making jewelry, and, most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Michael Hastings; daughter, Tracy Propes; son-in-law, Billy Propes; grandchildren, Apryl Small, Melody Redner, Joshua Propes, Makayla Keene, and Megan Hastings; and great-grandchildren, Logan Small, Connor Redner, Caden Redner, Mason Keene, Hunter Keene, Christopher Keene, and Gunner Hastings, with two additional great-grandchildren on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Manning Waller, and her grandson, Christopher Hastings.

A private funeral service will be held for family.

Sherron’s life was centered around the people and animals she loved, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

John 11:25–26: “I am the resurrection and the life.”
