Sandy was an active member of the former King’s United Methodist Church in Delmar and also participated in the New Century Club of Delmar. Her passions included reading and crocheting, but nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Scott and companion, Laura Owens; grandchildren, Katie Kimbro and husband, Brad; Krista Wing and husband, Zeke; Kaleb Scott; Kimberlyn Lewis and husband, Dillon; Tyler Scott and wife, Megan; and Cody Scott; great-grandchildren, Kenton, Kendall, Eli, Klaira and Noah ; a brother, Earl G. “Buddy” Perry, II and wife, Karen; daughters-in-law, Mellisa Nunley and Teresa Bennington; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George W. Scott, who passed in 2004; and sons, Phillip Wade Scott and George W. Scott, II.
