Samantha Ann Loose was born Monday, July 30, 2001 to Jennifer Griffin and Raymond Loose, Jr. in Seaford. Samantha resided in Laurel and attended Laurel High School, where she graduated in 2019. In Samantha’s free time she enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Samantha passed away on Friday, Nov. 19, 2021 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury.
Samantha was preceded in death by both parents, Jennifer Griffin and Raymond Loose, Jr. in 2002; maternal grandmother, Vanessa Griffin, paternal grandparents, Cheryl Loose in 2016; and Raymond Loose in 2019.
Samantha is survived by her sister, Rachel Loose; two nieces, Navaeh and Aniyah Hopkins; one nephew, Rodney Hopkins, Jr.; aunt and uncle, Tammy and Shon Davis; cousins, Paul Hunter and Elijah Toomey; along with many more family members.
The Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at 6 p.m. at Laurel Wesleyan Church, 30186 Seaford Road #3836, Laurel. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to service.
