Russell H Perdue, Sr. of Laurel passed away on Feb. 8, 2021 at Tidal Health Nanticoke in Seaford. Russell was born in Parsonsburg, a son of the late Chester and Catherine Perdue.

He worked at GM Sales as an installer and retired from Horsey Turf Farm.

Russell loved the outdoors, hunting and working in the garden. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church and attended Bethel Worship Center. He was also a member of the Sports and Beagle Club in Laurel.

Russell is survived by his loving wife Sandra Perdue of Laurel; his sons Russell Perdue, Jr. of Willards and Scott Perdue of Georgia; his daughters, Susan Perdue of Laurel, Tammy Bolen of Laurel, Tanya Perdue of Georgetown and Tracey Perdue of Laurel; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, along with many other family members.

A walk through viewing was held on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel. A funeral service was held with the Pastor Joe LeCates and Pastor Mark Phillips officiating. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel.
