Ronald J. Moore of Delmar passed away on Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021 at Delmar Villa Assisted Living. He was born on March 11, 1932 in Upland, Pennsylvania, a son of the late May Jennie Moore Donovan and John George Moore.

Mr. Moore and his wife owned and operated the Old Firehouse Auction in Delmar. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church in Laurel, and was a Third Degree Mason, serving with the Hope Lodge #4 in Laurel.

He is survived by his son, Ronald S. Moore (Carol); a daughter, Robyn Hall (Jay); grandchildren, Chad Holloway (Kristen), Kyle Holloway (Heather), and Zachary Moore (Tori); seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Vivian Moore; and a brother-in-law, James Moore.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Emogene H. Moore; a brother, Richard Moore; and a sister, Jenny Moore.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the healthcare workers at Delmar Villa Assisted Living and Coastal Hospice for the special care shown to Mr. Moore.

Due to current gathering restrictions, the funeral service will be private.
