Rodney Don Sweet passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2024 at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford. He was born in Syracuse, New York on Thursday, Jan. 8, 1948 to Frederick Don Sweet and Dawn Elnora (Minckler) Sweet.
Rodney was a dedicated attorney (SU Law Degree) who spent his career helping those in need. He was a beloved member of the legal community and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rodney was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Don Sweet, and his mother, Dawn Elnora Minkler. He is survived by his family, colleagues, and friends.

Service will be private. Per Rodney’s wishes, he will be laid to rest next to his parents in upstate New York.
