Robert Parsons of Laurel passed away on Dec. 18, 2020 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. He was born in Salisbury on Aug. 2, 1942. Bobby retired as an automotive manager with Sears. He was a member of the Connection Church in Laurel, past deacon of the Living Water Church, where he was a Sunday school teacher and a Sunday school bus driver, and a past member of the Kiwanis Club. He loved to work in his yard, and going fishing in his spare time. Bobby will be remembered by his family for having a wonderful sense of humor, his unselfish manner, hard work ethic, and being a great provider. He loved his family dearly.

He is survived by loving wife of 52 years, Patricia Lowe Parsons of Laurel; son, Steve Parsons and his wife Anita of Dover; daughters, Angie Carmine and her husband Rob of Laurel, and Tesa Ambrosino of Laurel; brother, Frank Jester of Alabama; niece, Barbara Clark; nephew, Charles Clark Jr.; grandchildren, Lilien, Rachel, Ricky, Brittany, Brian, Chris, Nicholas, and Sophia Denae; great-grandchildren, Korben, Ava, Julian, Carter, Ari’yana, Oliver, and Brooks. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mamie Parsons, Hallie Costopoulos and Jerome Harmon; his sister Evelyn Clark; and a special pet “Frankie”.

All services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to his wife Pat Parsons. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel.
