Robert “Bob” David Board of Laurel passed away on Dec. 13, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seaford.
He is survived by children, Bill Erwin and his wife Evelyn, Angela Oliver and her husband Ernie; grandchildren Billy Erwin (Lauren), Bobby Erwin (Sarah), Brittany Oliver (John) and Morgan Oliver (Jason); great grandchildren, Sultan Life, Billy Erwin, Bobby Erwin, Beau Erwin, Colton, Reed, Laurel, Oliver, and Kensington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary Board, his granddaughter Michelle Andres and his step-father, Chester Board.
A visitation was held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel. A funeral service took place on Dec. 23. Pastor Barry Secrest officiated. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 7262, Hillsborough, NJ 08844. Interment followed in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
