Richard “Paul” Drown of Seaford passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, due to cardiac issues. Paul was born on April 2, 1983 in Salisbury to Richard Leonard Drown and Susan Wilson (Drown) Endicott.

He attended Seaford Christian Academy for part of his education and graduated with the class of 2001 at Delmar High School in Delmar. He also attended Wor-Wic Community College in Salisbury. Paul worked throughout high school at Lankford Farms aka H & L Farms, farming and at Jim’s Custom Cutting butchering with his best friend Doug. Later he worked at Doug’s Butcher Shop. Paul worked with his cousin Randy on Aunt Margaret’s chicken farm.

From high school, college and until he started Harrington Raceway Paul worked with his father at Classic Restoration Services in Delmar doing auto body repair and custom restoration. He developed a love for Mustangs and his friend Chris always kept his motors running perfectly. At age 14 Paul and his father began customizing a 1987 5.0 Mustang all genuine and a 1997 Mustang thereby Riding Deuces (2 Mustangs). Paul attended Delmar Christian Center, Delmar, and Christ Episcopal Church, Milford. Paul worked the last 10 years at Harrington Raceway and Casino, his final position was Dual Rate Supervisor. He will be remembered for his “Double Deuces.”

He was a loyal and fun-loving person who loved his family and friends deeply. Paul loved cooking great food for one or 100. He enjoyed swimming, water sports, hunting, football (Ravens was his team) and any kind of activities that brought his friends together, usually on Tuesdays. He held deep faith in his heart and believed in doing what was right. Paul was honest to a fault, witty, blunt, and true, always with a smile and in fun. He loved his country, family, and friends, and we will always love and miss him dearly. He was also an animal lover and always had pets.
