Raymond “Rip” Edward Lloyd III passed away on April 22, 2026, leaving behind a life defined by strength, character, and deep connection to those he loved.

Rip was known for his steady presence and straightforward nature. He believed in doing things the right way—working hard, standing by his word, and showing up for the people who mattered. He didn’t seek attention, but he earned respect.

Rip worked as a Master plumber for 40 years at various locations, he ended his career as a Maintenance Plumber for Wicomico County School District in 2020.

He is survived by his loving partner of nearly 40 years, Diane Harrington; his son, Chad Lloyd (Lex) and Diane’s daughters, Tanya Callaway and Sherry Hastings (Mark). Special mention of his cuddle partner, Pebbles. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Lloyd II and mother, Joan Doheny.

Rip was an avid outdoorsman who spent countless hours in the woods and on the water fishing, hunting bear, wild boar, white-tailed deer, and turkey. He also spent many of those hours outdoors with special friends he enjoyed being with. The outdoors was where he felt most at home—patient, focused, and fully himself.

He had a talent for turning everyday moments into stories worth remembering. Through his lively conversations, Rip made friends easily and built lasting relationships with many different people over the years.

Per his request, no funeral services will be held. In lieu of a service, please take a moment to share a memory and toast a glass to Rip.
