Ralph Howard Causey of Seaford passed away peacefully and went home in the arms of Jesus surrounded by his loving family after a brief battle with cancer on Oct. 15, 2020. Born in Baltimore, Md., he is the son of the late Douglas Causey and Lucille Hickman Causey.

Ralph was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Laurel, where he was an active member of the choir and loved to sing his gospel music with the Centenarians, and for years was a member of the Epworth Quartet. He was retired from E. I. Dupont Company in 1992 after 30 years of service, after retirement he owned Capitol Billard’s in Dover for 12 years.

He loved the game of golf and watching Tiger Woods. Ralph also enjoyed watching the Colts and Peyton Manning and was a die hard Colts fan even after they left Baltimore. His other hobbies included; bowling for DuPont Bowling League, playing pool in Dagsboro, and he was known to be very competitive.

His most treasured love was his family and grandchildren, and his vacations at the Massanutten Resort in Virginia. Ralph is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pat Causey of Seaford; sons, Mark Causey and Scott Causey of Seaford; grandchildren, Timothy and Shelby Causey; two brothers, Ken Causey and his wife Donna of Delmar, and Bob Causey and his wife Cindy of Salisbury; sister in law, Ruth Feeney of Laurel, brother in law, Charles Sullivan of Philadelphia; caregivers, Charles and Tracey Wilkerson of Laurel, and two great nieces, Kayleigh and Amina, and several nieces and nephews also survive him.

A visitation will be held at Centenary United Methodist Church, 200 West Market Street, Laurel, DE 19956 from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22. A memorial service will follow at church at 2 p.m. Reverend Dean Perdue will officiate.
