Ralph A. Cheeseman of Seaford passed away on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 at his home. He was born Dec. 14, 1966 in Tampa, Florida, a son of the late Harry F. Cheeseman and Dorothy May Cheeseman. He was raised by his grandmother, the late Frances E. Duffey, who he often referred to as “Mom.”
Ralph was a devoted and dedicated well driller assistant and worked for Willey & Co., Inc. in Laurel where he considered his co-workers family. In his earlier days he worked for Perdue and had several other jobs. Ralph was a music enthusiast with an amazing cd collection with many selections from his favorite classic rock genre. Music was Ralph’s medicine and helped him through his walk of life. Ralph also enjoyed the outdoors and was happiest when hunting and fishing. He was a simple man who loved his family and friends, music, bonfires, woodworking, feeding the squirrels, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was a wonderful cook.
He is survived by his brother, Harry Eugene Cheeseman (Alberta Shockley); his friend and former companion, Wanda Maloney and her son, Kaleb Layton (Hannah Jo); and his extended family from Willey & Co.
In addition to his parents and grandmother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Lee Cheeseman.
