Peter Francis Gamma of Bridgeville passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024. He was born on July 7, 1940, to the late Alexander and Eva Catherine Gamma in Newburgh, New York.

Mr. Gamma enjoyed a wonderful career as an iron worker for many years, becoming a member of the Union Local 214. He was an enthusiastic member of the Elks Lodge #247 being a Past Exalted Ruler, as well as the American Legion. Mr. Gamma, a steadfast and lifelong New York Yankees fan, participated in the American Congress of Bowling Champions circuit and enjoyed shooting a round of pool, playing golf and going to the beach. His favorite activity was spending time with beloved family and many friends and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Mr. Gamma was predeceased in death by his brothers Michael and Alexander and sister Pat. He is survived by loving wife Marian Wilson-Gamma; sons Brett Gamma and his wife Mary Kay, Peter Gamma and his partner Michael Lorenzo; sisters Katie and Carol; grandchildren Madison, Clare and Connor (now with the Lord); nephews Alex Jr., Michael, Taras, Matt, Richard and David; and nieces Fallon, Jennifer and Suzanne.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 27 at 11 a.m. at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Road, Georgetown, Delaware 19947, where friends may visit beginning at 10 a.m.
