Peggy Ralph of Laurel passed away on Feb. 7, 2021 at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood. Born in Laurel, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Maude Cordrey. Peggy retired from the University of Delaware as the head secretary after working there for over 25 years. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, secretary of the Laurel Alumni, Friends of the Library, Western Sussex Democrats and the bowling league.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Bramble (Brenda), Alan Ralph (Valerie); grandchildren, Jamie and Casey; several nieces and nephews also survive her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ralph; siblings, Mary Farrelly, Louise McGee, Grace Holloway, Jimmy Cordrey, Melvin Cordrey, and Richard Cordrey.

A walk-through viewing was held on Saturday, Feb. 13 at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel. A graveside service followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel.
