Paul Raymond Martin passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on March 20, 2024, at Bayhealth Hospital in Milford.
A memorial service will be held at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Seaford on Saturday, May 4. Visitation hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m., with service starting at 11. Interment will be at the Delaware Veteran’s Cemetery on Monday, May 6 at 10 a.m.
Mr. Martin was born April 4, 1940, in Dighton, Massachusetts to John and Louise Martin.
He served in the United States Navy as a Sea Bee from 1957 to 1963 where he spent six months in Antarctica building the New Byrd Station Research Station.
He worked in industrial/chemical filtration for 42 years.
Mr. Martin is survived by his wife Nola of Seaford, son Brian Martin and wife Amy Reid Martin of Rhodesdale, Maryland, daughters Kristen and Regina Martin of Readfield, Maine, and brother Arthur of Dighton, Massachusetts. He was predeceased by brothers John, Daniel and James.
Mr. Martin had five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are in the care of Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market.
