A National Day of Prayer service will take place on Thursday, May 1 from 6-8 p.m. at the Greenwood VFW #7478, located at 301 Mill Street in Greenwood.
The theme for this year’s National Day of Prayer is: “Pour Out to the God of Hope and be Filled.” The scripture reference is: Romans 15:13. The host church for this service is Mt. Moriah Church with Elder Jerome Houston as the welcoming pastor.
This is a service of prayers by 10 Greenwood pastors covering all aspects of our lives and the groups/organizations that teach us: firemen, military, all levels of government, etc. Immediately following the service light refreshments will be available during a time of fellowship.
