Nancy A. Fairchild Lewis went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020. She passed away at 3:30 p.m. at Bayhealth Sussex Campus with her two daughters by her side. She was born Oct. 19, 1950 in Milford. She was proceeded in death by her husband Glenn H. Lewis, her mother Mary E. Fairchild and her father Martin R. Fairchild.
She is survived by her children, James R. Fairchild, Glenna L. Lewis (James Fleetwood), Michelle D. Lewis (Robert Wilkerson) and Ann Owens (John Owens); her sister Rose Mary Dean; and brothers Richard A. Fairchild and Marty Fairchild, along with her grandchildren, Kyler J. Fairchild, Kayla M. Arnett, Kelly E.R. Culver, George G. Moore III, Michael R. Lewis, Madison T. Lewis, Maly A.M. Lewis, Karah L. Herbert, Brittany Aronin (Phil), Ronnie Nichols III and Zachary Owens; great-grandchildren Addison, Kennedy and Nicholas; nephew Charles M. Dean, great-nephews Phoenix F. Dean and Jude K. Dean; and some very special friends, Denis J. Emmett, Beth and Joe Reed and Ed Palacio, whom she considered her second son. She was an avid collector of Elvis memorabilia and she loved listening to Conway Twitty sing. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved cooking and baking which she was amazing at. She was dearly loved and will be truly missed by all.
Services were provided by Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford Delaware. Due to COVID, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
