Mount Olivet’s Fall Soup and Pastry sale is taking place on Nov. 2. Orders must be placed by Wednesday, Oct. 23. Eight different soups are available for sale: 15 bean with ham, broccoli cheese, chicken taco, chili, chunky potato and ham, Italian wedding soup, loaded potato, and Mount Olivet chicken noodle. Pastries that are being offered include apple crisp, banana bread, a slice of blueberry cream cheese pastry, blueberry scones (two), brownies (2), cheddar beer bread, chocolate chip cookies (three), chocolate covered pretzel rod either white or milk chocolate, key lime pie slice, and pumpkin bread.
Soup is $10 for a quart. Pastries are individually priced. Items will be available for pick up on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Orders may be placed in the church office during office hours or call 302-629-4458 and speak with the secretary. Mount Olivet is located at 315 High Street in Seaford.
