Monte William Towers of Seaford passed away on Jan. 31, 2024 at his home. Monte was born on March 11, 1948, to the late William Towers and Doris Hills Towers. He was a graduate of Milford High School in the class of 1966, and after graduation he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a very talented professional drywaller, owning and operating his own company for many years
Monte is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Karen Towers; daughter, Tracy Childs; daughter-in-law, Ping Wang Towers and mother of their grandchildren, Ashton Alexander Towers and Lily Jade Towers; brothers, Michael Towers and Steven Towers; nephew, Robert LeCates; several cats and his dog also survive him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Troy Towers; and his sister, Victoria LeCates.
A Celebration of Life with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, Delaware 19966.
