Michael Brandon Tucker, “Skeeter Skike”, “Mike” of Sanford, Fla. passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2021 at Central Florida Regional Hospital, Sanford, Fla. He was born on Dec. 6, 1982 in Easton, to Gwendolyn Tucker Butler and Michael Chaney.
Michael attended and graduated from Laurel High School with the class of 2000. In 2004, he relocated to Sanford, Fla. to be closer to his family. Michael was a certified welder and he worked in the Iron Workers Union. He enjoyed playing the guitar and spending time with his family, who he loved dearly. Michael will truly be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen Mae Murphy, Iris Chaney, and Donald Chaney.
Michael is survived by his son, Brandon Lee-Issiac Tucker of Greenwood; parents, Gwendolyn Butler, Bobby Butler, both of Sanford, Fla, and Michael Chaney, Bridgeville; brother, Kevin Tucker (Andria Fischer), both of Laurel; sisters, Bobbi Joe Butler, Federalsburg and Crystal Butler, Bridgeville; niece, Kayla Tucker, Deltona, Fla.; nephew, Kaiden Tucker, Sanford, Fla.; grandfather, Donald Tucker, Lake Mary, Fla.; aunt, Donna Baker (Rodney), Greenwood; uncle, Doug Tucker (Kathy), Bethel; and a host of cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
A service celebrating the life of Michael Brandon Tucker will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 1 p.m. at Stein Highway Church of God, 425 East Stein Highway, Seaford, Delaware 19973.
