Mary Swift of Seaford passed away on Monday, Sept. 14, surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sept. 8, 1925 in Milford.

She was a sales clerk at Woolworth’s in Seaford for 24 years. She was a lifetime member of VFW Auxiliary and a past noble grand of Miriam Rebekah Lodge #20. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Seaford Fire Department for 52 years. She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Griffith, Linda Hignutt and Bonnie Walls. She was preceded by a son, Sonny Swift. She has four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services were on Wednesday, Sept. 16 the Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
