Mary Anne Caddell Genshaw of Seaford passed away on Thursday, Oct. 28.
Mary Anne was the daughter of the late Charles J and Iris Caddell. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Floyd in 2008; her brother, Charles M. Caddell; her youngest son, Scott; and grandson, Joshua.
She volunteered for 10 years in the Host reading program at West Seaford and two years for Central Elementary until the Stars program ended. She was a member of the Seaford Golf and Country Club, the Seaford Historical Society and the Nanticoke River Queens Red Hat Group. She also belonged to birthday groups of beloved friends. She enjoyed traveling, reading, ty, crossword puzzles and going to the casino. She loved her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy.
Mary Anne leaves behind her two sons, Mark Genshaw (Elizabeth) and David Genshaw (Becky); daughter-in-law, Terri Genshaw; eight grandchildren, Emily, Abby, Ivy Ann, Seth, Lauren, Jason, Anne Stark, Steven, and great-granddaughters, Jayda, Janiya and Beck.
She was so proud of her family and loved them very much.
Funeral Services were on Monday, Nov. 1 at the Cranston Funeral Home in Seaford. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
