Marvin Lloyd passed away peacefully on Feb. 26, 2021. Marvin affectionately known as “Fuzzy”, was born on Sept. 30, 1938 in Seaford, the son of the late Luzzetta and Norman Lloyd. He was an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Marvin was a proud graduate of Seaford High School class of 1956 and, as he would say, they had the best football team ever! He continued his education at Goldey Beacom College. After graduation, he worked as an accountant for William Bennett and later David Boyce when he retired after 61 years.

Marvin was preceded in death by his mother, Luzzetta English Lloyd; father, Norman Lloyd; and stepfather, Jack White. He is survived by his loving wife of  61 years, Delores Lloyd; son Jeffrey Lloyd (Lisa); daughter Julie Bradley (Jay); grandchildren, Ben Lloyd, Jessica Lewis (Josh), Kate Wesselhoff, Scot Lloyd, Mason Johnson, Tyler Bradley, Trevor Bradley, and great-grandchildren, JJ, Jalynn, Ben Jr. and Amelia.

Marvin was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, serving as treasurer for more than 50 years, teaching Sunday school and serving in the church in any way he could. He was a dedicated Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan and dearly loved John Wayne movies.
