Martha L. Dunn (Brittingham) of Lake Wales, FL, formerly from Sharptown, gained her wings on July 12, 2020. She was born on Oct. 24, 1946 in Mardela Springs, Md., the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary (Adkins) Brittingham.
Martha enjoyed dancing, walking and taking rides with her husband on their motorcycle. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Dunn, Sr.; daughter Shirley Holt and her husband Mark; son John Dunn, Jr. and his wife Joy; her brothers John Brittingham (Linda) and Bill Brittingham (Pat), sister-in-law Irene Adams (John), brother-in-law George Dunn (Valerie); four grandchildren, Nikki, Shanna, Brian and Daniel; 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 3222 Eighth Avenue 16th floor, New York, NY 10001. A memorial will be held at a later date.
