Mark Curtis Foskey was born on May 22, 1962 in Seaford to Kenneth William Foskey and Patricia Joan (Barto) Foskey Thackery. He passed from this life on Sept. 16, 2023 in Tulsa, Okla. due to a motorcycle accident.

He graduated from Seaford High School in 1980 and lived and worked in Seaford many years. Mark then moved to St. Louis, MO, where he worked for several years with his wife for Joyce Meyer Ministries. He later moved Okla. to be near his grandchildren, and was employed as the facility coordinator for Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Okla.

Mark is remembered by his family as a God-fearing, hard working man that always went above and beyond. He was fiercely loyal and accountable. He had a very quick wit and great sense of humor and could easily make others laugh. He traveled to Australia and England with this work and also served as a missionary on another trip to India.

He was very family-oriented and will be remembered as a prolific talker. Mark lived a very adventurous life and did not let fear dictate what he wanted to do. He was a great fan of Nascar, the National Hot Rod Association, motorcycles, skydiving, and a lifetime fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Mark lived his life to the fullest and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his father and his mother-in-law, JoAnn Sullivan, and grandmother Kathryn Barto Donovan.

Mark is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Cindy A. (Sullivan) Foskey, whom he married on May 12, 1990 in Denton as well as his mother, Patricia Barto Thackery and husband Chuck of Hobe Sound, FL; one son, Michael Cluley and wife Erin of Fenton, MO; one sister, Karen M.
