Marie A. Hill of Blades passed away on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021.
Marie was a seamstress for Kim Manufacturing and later retired from Walmart. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved yard sales.
She was the daughter of the late Lillian and Albert Eskridge. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Donald, Jimmy and David Eskridge and her sister Shirley Anderson. Her husband, Ernest “Ernie” Hill died in 2006.
Marie is survived by a son, Randy Hill (Tammy); a daughter, Brenda Wootten; grandchildren, Shane Wootten (Amanda), Nikki Hill (Lee), Chad Baker (Leshaun) and Randy Hill; great-grandchildren, Rachel Wootten, Evan Wootten, Zachary Wootten, Kara Hill and Madison Hill; great-great-grandson, Garrett Lankford; brother Ricky Eskridge and sister-in-law, Norma Williams (Bobby).
Funeral Services will be on Thursday, Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. at the Bethel Worship Center, 26648 Sussex Hwy., Seaford, where friends may call from 12 to 1. Burial will be in Blades Cemetery.
