Margaret Ann Nicholson of Seaford, and formerly of Laurel, passed away on Nov. 2, 2020 at Seaford Center in Seaford. Born in Laurel on Feb. 29, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lola Foskey.
Margaret was a retired seamstress with the Walker Shirt Factory’s in Blades and Fruitland. She enjoyed making ceramics, traveling on mission trips, and had the opportunity to visit Haiti and Jerusalem. She is survived by her dear friends, Barbara Wootten and Joyce Vincent. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Nicholson, Jr.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 3:30 p.m. in Laurel Hill Cemetery, 9th Street, Laurel, Delaware 19956. Pastor Carl Vincent will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel.
