Lynda Ellen (Logan) Mueller of Delmar, Del. passed away on Feb. 3, 2021. She was born in Baltimore, Md. on June 15, 1947 to the late John H. and Ella C. (Poist) Logan. After graduating Lansdowne Senior High School, Baltimore County, Md., she went on to work at various positions including Maryland National Bank, Westinghouse and the Federal Government. On June 14, 1969 she married Paul H. Mueller from Lancaster, Pa. In Sept. 1977 she, along with her husband and two children, moved to Wicomico County, Md. and in 2007 to Country Grove Estates, Delmar, Del. After several jobs locally, she retired from the Wicomico County Board of Education as a food service worker.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years Paul H. Mueller, Sr.; daughter Tracey L. Mueller (Joe) of Hebron and son, Paul H. Mueller, Jr. of Delmar, Del. She is also survived by brothers John R. Logan (Lorna) of Newton, NJ, and Terry L. Logan (Roseann) of Ellicott City, Md., along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel, DE on Tuesday, Feb. 9. The Rev. Gary Moore officiated. Interment was held on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021 in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro. Contributions can be made in her name to Wicomico Humane Society.
