Lisa Louise Etienne, aka “Big Lisa” of Laurel passed away on Sept. 25, 2024 at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford. She was born on Nov. 4, 1964 in Seaford to Norman Ernest Spicer and Catherine Noto Scrivener. Lisa was retired as a nurses aide in the medical profession and enjoyed her last career driving a private bus carrying watermelons at the auction block.

She is survived by her daughter, Taylor Littleton; son, Brandon Lauer; mother, Catherine Noto Scrivener; step-mom, Ruth Ann Spicer; brother, Bruce Spicer; sisters, Michelle Spicer, Lilian Scrivener, and Trisha Scrivener; grandchildren, Kenyen Littleton, Makayla Pinkett, Nevaeh Lauer, Alex Lauer, and Aryissa Lauer. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive her. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Norman Ernest Spicer, her infant son, Michael, and her brother, Chad Spicer, her special aunt, Patricia “Patty” Littleton and special uncle, George Littleton.

A viewing will be held on Friday, Oct. 4 from 1-2 p.m. at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West Street, Laurel, Delaware 19956. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Tim Dukes will officiate. Interment will be private.
