This year five historic properties and museums in the greater Laurel area will be open to the public on the first Sunday of each month, May through October, from 1 to 4 p.m. The open museums are: (1) Cook House, 502 E. 4th St., Laurel, (2) Hitchens Homestead, 205 Willow St., Laurel, (3) Rosemont, 121 Delaware Ave., Laurel, (4) Bethel Maritime Museum, 312 1st St., Bethel, and (5) Old Christ Church, Christ Church Rd., Laurel. Docents will be available at all five sites. Admission to all sites is free, but free will offerings are most gratefully accepted. The first day of museum openings will be Sunday, May 5. Questions?
