Saturday, June 6 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. will be the Bridgeville Public Library’s “Jumpin’ June Jubilee” to kick-off the summer reading program, celebrate America’s 250th birthday and other local celebrations.
There will be a free hot dog meal for children, a petting zoo, May Day pole, Cascading Carlos, Summer Reading Registration, coloring contest, live music with Barren Creek Band, colonial kids’zone, historical displays, free patriotic bag per family, food vendor, and more.
This event will be held at a new location: On the Green/2 N. Laws St. between Union Methodist Church and St. Mary’s Episcopal Church.
