Joseph “Joe” E. Burr, of Seaford departed this life on Feb. 8, 2025. Joe was born in Mount Holly, N.J. on Oct. 23, 1952.
Joe proudly served in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with family and helping others. Joe also enjoyed working on cars and did so professionally at Nanticoke Automotive for over 20 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Mary Burr, and a brother, Robert Burr. Joe is survived by three sisters, Marie Walls, Susie Burr, and Mary Maurizio; his partner, Monica Ogle; two step-children, Staci Dickerson and Donnie Ogle; five grandchildren, Destin Horne, Michael Burgner, Colton, Brinley, and Kasen Ogle; and a great-grandson, Nate Merrell.
Services will be held at The Ark Seaford Wesleyan Church on Saturday, Feb. 22; visitation begins at 1 p.m., followed by the service at 1:30 p.m.
