Joe is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Joyce Byers (David “Smiley”), Tubby, Wanda, Ralph, and Elaine, as well as Emily’s children; several of whom he lovingly referred to as his stepchildren: Michael Justice (Mary), Glenn Elswick (Peggy), Robin Ness (Bill), Bonnie Moore and Mark Justice (Debbie).
Joe was predeceased by his parents as well as seven brothers, George, Harold, Walter, Noah, Charlie, and Earl, and a stillborn baby boy; and three sisters, Ellen “Queenie”, Louise and Delores “Sissy.”
