Jeffrey C. Damms passed away peacefully at home in Seaford, Delaware on Saturday, Aug. 14. He was born in York, Pa. on Sunday, Aug. 18, 1946 to the late John and Thelma Damms. He was lovingly-known as Jeff and attended West York High School, Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pa., and Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN where he achieved a Masters in Music Education. Many years later, he attended The American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa. and was awarded the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant.

Jeff worked for Prudential as a District Sales Rep., and a Financial Consultant and was awarded salesman of the year multiple times within his career. He requested that his funeral have “business casual” dress required, as he spent too many years wearing a coat and tie. He was an avid Penn State football fan, whether tailgating at PSU games, or rooting for the team on television.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Thelma Damms; son, Brian Damms and stepsons, Hank and Tommy Transue. Jeff is survived by his wife, Regina Transue Damms; son, Aaron (Christine) Damms, grandson, Bailey Damms of Montgomeryville, Pa., and his brother, Greg (Ruth) Damms of Beaverton, OR.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Brian S. Damms Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Montgomery County Community College Foundation, 340 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. Jeff felt that in addition to his two sons, this was his most important contribution to society.
