James Murray of Seaford passed away on Nov. 7, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. James was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and a member of the VFW as well as the American Legion. He was a member of the NY Typographical Union/CWA local 14156 where he served as vice president. James also served on the NY Central Labor Council. He was employed at the New York Daily News for over 35 years where he served as chairman.
He is survived by his wife Maureen Murray, his daughter Patricia Murray-Tews (Howard), his son James Murray, Jr. (Susan) as well as his cherished grandchildren Shamus Murray, Moira Tews and Aideen Tews.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
