Jack Dempsey Crossman, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer on June 27, 2026. He was born on Aug. 29, 1950, to Jack Crossman, Sr. and Gertrude (Jones) Crossman.

Jack graduated from Seaford High School, class of 1968, and went on to become an electrician. He worked for the Fluor Daniel Corporation and the Mundy Company at DuPont for many years. Jack lived his entire life in the town of Seaford and loved the outdoors. He would spend his spare time hunting and fishing, and he was an avid Yankees and Redskins fan. More recently, he would be found at home researching family genealogy and spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gerry. He is survived by Brenda (Peterson), his wife of 47 years; his two children, Adrienne Ramey (Glenn) of Stevensville and JD Crossman (Nicole) of Seaford; his two grandchildren, Evelyn and Jack, and numerous cousins. He provided for and loved his family immensely. He will be sorely missed but forever in our hearts.

The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice and close family and friends for their help and support.
