A historical Episcopal church service will be held Sunday, June 15, at 11 a.m. at Old Trinity Church in Woolford, Md. Built by English settlers about 1675, Old Trinity is recognized as the oldest church building in the United States still used for regular worship.

The June 15 service, as part of the church’s 350th Anniversary Celebration, will feature Holy Communion from the 1789 Book of Common Prayer, which was drafted in the aftermath of the American Revolution and the Constitutional Convention.

Old Trinity Church is located at 1718 Taylors Island Road, Woolford, one mile past the Church Creek Post Office. Parking is available anywhere along “Old Trinity Church Road.”
