Harold J. Rivell of Seaford, and formerly of Paulsboro, NJ, passed away in his home on Dec. 3, 2020.

Harold served in the U.S. Air Corp in the European theater, receiving the bronze star and victory medal. He later retired from the DuPont in New Jersey as an ammunition tech. He was a member of Laurel Wesleyan Church in Laurel with Pastor Scott Conn as his pastor. Harold loved his family and big birthday parties, always had a smile on his face and loved to joke around. He enjoyed music and western TV shows. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Harold is survived by his wife Dorothea Miller-Rivell of Seaford; his children Harold Rivell, Jr. (Nina) of PA, Donnalee Booth (Ben) of DE, Janice Seda-Morales (Ben) of NJ, Debra Figgs (Ken) of DE, Darlene Smith (Casey) of PA; and sisters, Frances Swift and Mary Jane Zielsdorf. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive him.

Harold was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian Rivell, and stepchildren, Paul, Thomas and Duane Miller.

A walk through viewing was held at Laurel Wesleyan Church in Laurel on Wednesday, Dec. 9. A graveside service was held in Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro, NJ on Thursday, Dec. 10, with the Pastors Kenneth Figgs and Ben Booth officiating.
