Gregory W. Sizemore of Seaford passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, after several months of declining health. Greg, known by many as Mud Duck, was born in 1953 to the late Glenn A. Sizemore and Joyce A. Webster.

Greg was a lifelong resident of Seaford and was a realtor for more than four decades. He worked in the family real estate business, Sizemore Realtors, before joining the ReMax Advantage team. During his long and rewarding real estate career, he served on the Professional Standards Committee and the Grievance Committee for the Sussex County Association of Realtors.  In addition, he held memberships in the National Association of Realtors, the Sussex County Association of Realtors, NRA (National Rifle Association), the National Wild Turkey Federation, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Federation.

Greg was an avid outdoorsman; fishing, crabbing, and hunting were his favorite pastimes. Nothing made him happier than to be with friends on the water, in a waterfowl blind, or in a deer stand surrounded by the beauty of nature.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Sizemore; stepmother Noel K. Sizemore; and stepfather, Walter D. Webster.

Gregory is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Jamie H. Sizemore; sisters, Pam Render (John) of Salisbury, and Elsie Rohlich of Seaford; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Bennett (Donald) of North Carolina, Brenda Adams, and Debbie Quillen (Alan) of Seaford; many nieces and nephews, and countless number of friends. Greg’s life was made richer because of the meaningful relationships he had with his friends.  Although not a biological child, Greg thought of Chad Lloyd as a son.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Vanderwende Acres, 22304 Atlanta Rd. In Seaford.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Greg’s memory to the Seaford Volunteer Fire Company, 302 E King St., Seaford, DE.
