Todds Chapel United Methodist Church will be hosting a one-day VBS on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Gone Fishin’ VBS will be held at Todds Chapel, located at 102 Todds Chapel Road, approximately five miles west of Greenwood at the intersection with Route 16. Students entering grades kindergarten and up are invited to register.
Attendees will learn Bible stories that focus on fishing and will sing songs, play games and make crafts with a fishing theme. Lunch will be provided. Weather permitting, there will be a hayride to a local fishing spot where attendees can cast a line.

Todds Chapel United Methodist Church meets each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. for traditional worship. A special service will be held on Sunday, Aug. 17 to continue the VBS theme with invited guests of the Fishers of Men organization participating in the service to talk about their group’s mission. The community is invited to attend this special service.
