With deepest sorrow, we announce that Georgia Greenwood passed suddenly on Saturday, Sept. 12.
She is survived by her father and stepmother Walter J. Webster Jr. and Barbara Webster, brother Walter Webster III (Shelly), sister Patty Mumford (David), brother Vance Webster (Donna), sister Jackie Shortt (Frank), Mandy Dukes (whom she thought of as a daughter), several nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews as well as great-great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Anne Jenkins, paternal grandparents Grace and Gilly Davis and maternal grandparents Pauline (Granny) and Walter Webster Sr.
Georgia loved her cat, Igor, and loved to cook. She was an avid reader.
Those who knew Georgia, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Her smile would brighten up the room and her laugh was contagious. She will forever be missed.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Oct. 24 from 1–3 p.m. at Parsonsburg Fire Department, 32960 Old Ocean City Rd., Parsonsburg, Md.
