Franklin D. Caudill of Bethel went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 5, 2021. He was born on Nov. 29, 1932. Frank is survived by his wife of 45 years, Charlotte Hardy Caudill; children, Kim Maloney (Tom), Carol Butler (Burt),

Jeff Caudill (Patti); stepchildren, Lezlie Downes (Darrell), Kathie Sturgis, David Sturgis; five grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Clark and Betty Jo Bramlett and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Stella Caudill; sisters, Marie, Louise, Leona, and brother James. 

Frank worked at A. I. DuPont in Seaford for 40 years. He was a member of the Nanticoke Sportsman Club and Seaford Moose. Frank never met a stranger. He was an avid deer hunter and sportsman. He was well-known for his gardening and sharing his produce with friends. Frank loved to dance. He and Charlotte danced most Saturday nights to the music of the Jones Boys who were like family to them. 

Services were on Sunday, Dec. 12, at Sailors Bethel Church in Bethel. The service was conducted by Pastor Bill Nack. Memorial contributions may be sent to Sailors Bethel Church, PO Box 187, Bethel, DE 19931. Burial followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford.
