Once a base shrouded in secrecy, Fort Miles is now a historic site dedicated to the soldiers who guarded our shores during the Second World War. On Monday, Jan. 12, the Manor House Lecture Series will feature Kaitlyn Dykes, Interpretive Programs Manager for Fort Miles, who will share the history of the fort and the stories of the people who worked there. The lecture will be at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Acts Manor House, 1001 Middleford Rd. in Seaford. Admission and parking are free.

The Seaford Historical Society is proud to present the Manor House Lecture Series as part of its commitment to Preserve, Protect, and Present our local history. Learn more at SeafordHistoricalSociety.com/lecture-series.
